Collaboration Agreement for TFP Shoots
In a TFP (Time For Portfolio) collaboration, we work together without financial compensation, where both the photographer and the model benefit from the results. Instead of signing a contract, I use this blog to communicate all the agreements in a clear manner. By letting me know that you agree, we can embark on a successful collaboration!
Below you’ll find the key points of our collaboration.
1. Usage Rights
I retain the copyright on the photos we take, but as a model, you will have usage rights. This means that you can use the photos for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as your portfolio or social media.
What you can expect:
- You can share the photos on social media or in your portfolio, as long as it's not for commercial purposes.
- The photos cannot be sold or used for commercial purposes without prior discussion.
- I can use the photos for promotional purposes, such as on my website, social media, or in an exhibition. If I want to use the photos commercially, I will contact you first.
2. Publication and Credit
Together, we'll ensure that our work gets the proper credit.
Agreements regarding this:
- Let me know if you publish the photos anywhere, such as on social media or in a portfolio.
- When you publish, please credit me as the photographer (e.g., "Photo by [my name]").
- If I publish the photos, I will credit you as the model unless you indicate otherwise.
3. Selection and Editing
I will ensure that you receive a selection of the best photos.
How this works:
- After the shoot, I will select the best images and edit them.
- You will receive a pre-agreed number of edited photos (usually 5).
- The photos will be delivered within a reasonable timeframe, usually within 2 to 4 weeks.
- I will not share raw or unedited images unless we make other arrangements.
4. Limitations and Privacy
It's important that you feel comfortable with how the photos are used.
What you can expect:
- The photos will not be used in contexts that could damage either your or my image.
- If you prefer not to have certain photos published, you can let me know, and I will respect that.
- The photos will not be shared with third parties without mutual consent.
Agreement and Collaboration
By agreeing to these terms, we can get creative together. Let me know if you have any questions or if there’s anything you’d like to discuss. When you confirm your agreement, I’ll consider that as your consent for this collaboration.
I look forward to creating something beautiful together! 😊
